Marianna is a multilingual holistic nutritionist (English, Hungarian, Slovak) who firmly believes that anybody can take control over their wellbeing by introducing simple yet powerful dietary and lifestyle changes.
In her nutritional practice, she specializes in supporting gut health as many common chronic conditions, whether physiological or psychological, originate from compromised gut function. Prior to her interest in natural nutrition, Marianna earned her Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from Queen’s University in Kingston. She also conducted research in the field of molecular biology.
Her interest in the holistic field developed while working for mainstream pharmacy where she experienced the lack of focus on nutritional and lifestyle changes as part of a comprehensive healing strategy. Marianna decided to study holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and earned the designation of Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
Her most sought-after nutritional program is the Low FODMAP Diet which is designed to reduce the symptoms of IBS, a digestive condition that affects about 7 – 15% of the world’s population.
As a certified GAPS practitioner since 2014, she implements the GAPS therapeutic program to address all chronic conditions that stem from intestinal dysfunction, including ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, as well as digestive, inflammatory, endocrine and autoimmune disorders.
An essential component of her nutritional practice is Live Blood Cell Analysis which serves to identify nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, compromised immunity and other body imbalances.
