Samantha is a 4th-year Naturopathic Intern from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, working under the supervision of Dr. Deanna Walker during her 4-month externship at Sage Naturopathic Clinic. She is passionate about assisting patients in a wide variety of health-related goals, but has a special interest in women’s health, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and complex chronic disease. Currently, she is on a complex chronic illness care focus shift helping individuals manage chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, and Lyme disease.
Samantha graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has a strong foundation in patient care through her time working as a Personal Caregiver and as a Physiotherapist Assistant. These experiences have allowed her to work closely with a wide variety of healthcare professionals and further her knowledge in physical modalities, rehabilitation programs and home care.
Samantha is looking forward to working under Dr. Deanna’s guidance and to continue advancing her education in Naturopathic Medicine.
